Good news for Indian customers is through Netflix. The company has made significant changes in its subscription plan. Netflix launches its new subscription offer plan in India on Wednesday. This subscription plan is offered by the company only for the mobile user. Premium Video Streaming Company Netflix has introduced a ‘Mobile Only’ plan of 199 rupees to woo Indian users among the competition from Amazon Prime videos and other local players. Provide information that this is the cheapest plan ever. Netflix, which provides video content, has been testing mobile online plans in India for last several months. Not only this, the company has reconstituted its 3 existing plans.
Netflix Director (Product Innovation) Ajay Arora said that Indians spend 30 per cent of their time on entertainment. In India, more people see content on mobile phones than in other countries of the world. Compared to any other country in the world, the number of people taking the Netflix service on mobile phones in India is high. The monthly plan of Rs 199 has been made for India.
Director (Product Innovation) Ajay Arora said that the company has tested similar mobile open plan in some other markets. But it has just been announced to present it in India. Earlier, Netflix’s cheapest plan was 450 rupees per month, in which user can view shows in SD resolution on single screen. Through the new plan, the company wants to raise more subscribers of Tier II and Tier 3 cities of India. It will work on both the Android and iOS devices, but the user will be able to use it on only one device. Users will be able to stream video of standard quality (about 480 pixels) in this plan. Not only this, the user will not get the content to mirror and cast content in the plan.
